light ?

I just bought a 3 year old Competition box light. I was told it is a 28 volt. A friend looked at it and said he thought it was only a 21 volt. It has no voltage written anywhere on the light, so how can you tell what voltage it is.

Ron , I bought a moonshiner light that was suppose to have been 28 volt and when i took the batteries pack out it was stamped 21 volt. Of course i did this after the warranty went out. But anyway charge the light up full and hot put a volt meter on the wires and it should read 21 or a little less, or 28 or a little less.
