Hunt last night

Had a good hunt. Treed a few coon. Decided to drop one last time. Dogs went deep in three different directions. Two dogs treed about 3/4 mile from us. Another dog working a creek about half way to the dogs treed and another dog 1/2 mile to the right working a track in some low ground.
We drove around to the 2 dogs treed (was a big swamp ) between us and dogs. They had a coon. Loaded them and the owner caught up the his dog. The last dog that was 1/2 mile to the right of our dogs had quit her track and her owner was tracking her (Has a beep beep) He couldn't figure out why she quit the track . He said she was between us and a main road, so we started driving that way when I saw her coming up the ditch.
She came running up to me carring a young coon in her mouth. Now this dog had to have killed the coon at least 3/4 of a mile from where we picked her up and she must have carried the coon all that way. By the way this dog is 11 years old a night champ. and one of the best dogs I've ever hunted with. Guess she had to prove she didn't quit the track.LOL!
