A Coondog poem

I cut me a hound down yonder on Tha creek
And I took too a walking trying to listen to him speak

He trailed to Tha left and he trailed to Tha right
Heck he nearly trailed almost half Tha night

Well finally he threw back On a good piece of wood
And that's when I knew this night was getting good

When I got to Tha tree what a sight I saw
Out jumped a lion and we had us a brawl

Well he scratched and fought like a man in a cage
So I pulled out Tha 44 and shot him with rage

Well I grabbed my old dog and checked him up and down
And we headed back to Tha truck to drink us some crown
