dont turn this thread into a political war this country is in bad shape now we got the dems and reps fighting on our national debt they send billions of dollars to other countrys to help them and dont give it a thought then when our proverty and fixed income people need help they dont want to help them they need to get thier differnces straited out for the country before its to late if its not already to late i think the us citzens should go to washington and demaste like the farmers and truckers did probly wouldnt do no good but what the heck would it hurt jmo

I agree 100%, our country is always quicker to respond to a disaster on foreign soil than on our own.

I wish our politicians would get back to serving the people that elect them like they are supposed to.

They dang sure sent plenty of money to New Orleans after the hurricane. I wonder why? They have not sent it to the flood ridden folk of the midwest.. The hard working farmers and all.. Hmmmmm?? Send it all to the folks that already draw probably 65% of the welfare.. Nah dont worry about the working man.. This country is headed to hell in a hand basket.. Stupid IDIOTS on both sides of the fence. With the biggest idiot the president. The people need to take this country back. The way I see it.. To heck with those over seas places. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours would be my motto. You got oil for us.. We have food for you

There should be a law that if they don't do what they promised when running for office then it is grounds for impeachment

Everything I read people say we need to get rid of these career politicians. There is just one person running for president that is a business man and has any new ideas, that is Herman Cain. I have been reading as much as I can about him. He seems like the only one that has anything to offer beside the same old BS you hear from these politicians. How many of you that would like to see a change and would listen to what he has to say and vote for him? Everyone always want a change but vote for their same politicians but think everyone else should change who they vote for.

i am a reg dem but i vote for who i think will to the best job for our country and i didnt vote for oboma if they all did what they say they will if they get elected this country would do alot better jmo

at this point i'm voting for Michele Bachman. i like herman cain too but i can't vote for both. i also like rick perry but he still hasn't decided to run. to me, he should have known what he was going to do years ago. he reminds me fred thompson. he waited and waited and then jumped it and then jumped out. rick should have already been out front. instead he's waiting for michele and herman to plow new ground.

I heard someone say that if we went back to the beginning of time (biblical) 6,000 to 10,000 years and added up a million dollars a day since then, until now, we still could not reach our debt. How bad can it get? I think we are headed into a depression. Know matter what they do in DC, I dont think we will come out of this. It still may be a couple of years, but we will see it. I hope I'm wrong, but do the math.

strokin i think we are already in a depression i really dont think you can call this a recisson because it hit so hard look how bad it hit californa 1000s people lost high paying jobs and thier homes living in tents and on the streets bush put this country in a helluva mess and oboma just kept borrowing money to give to states to keep the jobless in unemployment so that just made it worse seen this moroning if they cant come to a agreement oboma mat use the 14th amenment this country is going to hell in a hand basket my dad is 87 he said he thinks this is just as bad if not worse than the big depression jmo
