Young Tom Lion Up

On the catch: Ike, Choco, Kody, Goldie and Maverick......

Treed a young tom lion today, tough track, rained out and had to utilize the SWAG method a few times to help those hounds. After losing the tracks we walked some rock face ledges for the lion and my hounds struck and begin to work the track. The strike was in a little narrow notch and so we sat down and talked ten or more minutes. My red and white Kody dog trailed it up and turned the track along the rim and jumped that lion not thirty yards from where we both sat...............
Gotta love it!

He wasn't too grumpy but wouldn't look at me for a photo, so I grabbed his tail and he got a little pizzy.........
