Great Weekend at Youth Nationals

I just wanted to take a minute and thank UKC for the opportunity to serve as Master of Hounds at the Youth Nationals this year. I also want to commend Allen Roberts and the Meigs County Coonhunters for the great job they did hosting this event. I know from experience that it is not an easy task to put this many dogs in the woods with non-hunting judges. And I especially want to say how impressed I was with the general attitude and the sportsmanship of the young ladies and gentlemen that participated in this event. The parents did an outstanding job as well of letting the kids do what they were suppost to do. In closing I would like to say thanks once again to UKC for this opportunity to be a part of this weekend. If this past weekend is any indication then our sport has a great future ahead of it.

Ron, thank you for your part as Master of Hounds. Always calm and collected. I like that. I have a lot of respect for officials like yourself and greatly appreciate all the help you provided. Thanks also to Mrs. Stroud for her help with the malfunctioning slip-n-slides! It turned out great!
