Dogs feet?
My Hounds feet are torn all to hell from this past weekend. Only thing I can think of is North Carolina has some different rocks than we have here. What if anything are you guys using to help tuffin up thier pads?
paint them up with Venice Turpintine every other day for a week before hunting hard.My grand daddy and daddy did it with their fox hounds.
Glynn
i put the wound kote on mine and tuff feet on it and they do great.
dog's feet
i use hemlock bark to toughen my dogs feet, i havs flat pans 2 feet by 2 feet and they have to stand in it to eat, or place pans where they travel the most.-- taxidermist used hemlock to tan hides back in the earley days because it had tanick acide and turned hide into leather --- nelson cole, web www.ihunt4u.net

I use coppertox herd about it on here from Ike it's seems to work great I started using it before I ever had a problem an haven't had one yet. But I think some dogs just have bad feet no matter what.
