Country Music

Now we all know that all of us on this board are country music lovers and we all have good coon hounds. I would like to take a poll on the 3 top songs out there now. Us boys around northeast Iowa get happy feet once in a great moon. The 3 songs are Jason Aldean (Dirt Road Anthem) Dierks Bentley (Am I The Only One) or last but not least, Allen G. (The Rebone Song). I think all 3 should go to number ONE. Now get out there and dance or go hunting.

I don't like any of those. I don't like the way the new country sounds. One of the only modern country singers I like is Josh Turner.

I done consider any of those country.lol todays singers.....most of them anyway are pop country kareoke singers that are given a song and given credit. Country ain't country no more.

man none of those guys sing country (dont know if allen can sing ) lol the only singers i care for noe days are zack brown band he writes alot of his own stuff other than that they all got these crazy hair cuts like men with womens hair cuts and hair all died and styled up no let me see merle come out with his hair all boofawned up and color white black and purple these new people are glammer junkies no country singers

Jamey Johnson is the only true country singer right now. He's got some great songs of his own. "In Color," "High Cost of Living," "Can't Cash My Checks," and he does some Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Vern Gosdin, and Keith Whitley covers that are awesome.

Must be the northeast corner of iowa i sure don't get my feet moving to them songs. I like them but not that much. LOL. Heck anymore can't tell the difference is some of these country songs then what my 15 year daughter listens to. Kinda like the song from Allan Jackson and George Straight sing " Murder on music row" LOL. Give me the good old country any day. I don't know about anyone else but our Dang radio station here if a good song comes out they play it so much you get sick of hearing it then don't like it. LOL

Most counrty music dont sound like country music anymore.Its just like the song my cousin Larry Cordle wrote with Larry Shell,Murder on Music Row,its all but mostly true.Id rather listen to good bluegrass anymore.
