ND CHA Founding Members Retire from Duty

ND CHA was organized through the efforts of many people back in the early 70's. Faye and Kenny Waloch of Gwinner, ND, the last two active founding members, retired from their posts in a ceremony earlier this summer. Faye was our MOH, kept the books, did most of the event scheduling, and countless other things for the club over the years. Kenny hosted the club at the couple's cafe, did the cooking for the casts, and occasionally went out with casts. We were always treated with exceptional, cooked from scratch, full course meals both before and after our hunts.

Faye and Kenny at their Cafe in Gwinner, ND the evening they handed off their duties.

Thanks. I hope the we can live up to your example.

Losing people like that has got to hurt. The kitchen and having a club to meet at are important cogs in having a successful club. Thank you, Faye and Kenny for being a part of this awesome sport.

Rick, Thanks for this post/tribute. I have enjoyed many a hunt hosted at Kenny and Fayes Scratch Cafe. Great hospitality from both of them. Will the Cafe still be used as the clubhouse?
