Will a non aggressiver breeder become a aggressive breeder

Just wondering. My male is not aggressive enough. He has no problem breeding easy females that stand but the ones the jerk, growl, sit and so forth he just doesn't show them who is there to to the job. With more females will he become more aggressive when breeding time comes.

I think that is somewhat innate in some dogs. Quite a few Uchtman bred dogs I have seen are not really aggressive breeders.

I know Gary and Wilbern both will cull one in a heartbeat that is too "studly". An old pup always trying to ride something isn't long for the world at their place.

Now, Broadaxe Max, on the other hand, would breed one of they wer eeven thinking about coming in.

Put one in the pen with old Max, and he'd corner them up and drill 'em in a hurry.

I think breeding a dog a time or two when they are young helps. I have seen several dogs that were never bred until they got some age on them that never became aggressive breeders.

My Stormy hound never had the chance until he was 6 years old. He has breed more than a dozen females now and still likes to have foreplay. LOL! But he will finally get the job done!!!!

Warrior

Well I hope he gets better at this for his sake. I missed breeding Uchtmans Babe Saturday. After Max hunted with Warrior, Knight,Chief and Ruff. All off springs of Chief he says he has to have that cross. The students out did the master on that night.
3 singles 4 dens. No slick trees, no slick tails just good hard coon races with extremely loud mouth offspring to carry on the blood.
Hopefully Warrior will get better.

Hey Elmo I know what'll help him. Put him about two pens over and then let Lightning getter done. lol, Has he been put in with an agressive female. If they get roughed up on their frist time sometimes they take a while to recover.

We had a male once who didnt pay any attention to a female at ALL. Had him collected and AI'ed a couple females. Sperm count was high. Vet put him on a micro nutrition suppliment called Source for dogs. After about a week, he was trying to breed fence posts! LOL The farm stores have Source for horses, but I cant find the Source for dogs anywhere. TSC said they could order it for me but I would have to buy the whole case......I dont need that much! It has seaweed in it.

The only time that you should look down on anyone is when you're helping them up.

LOL! You're right. Those boys kill the overly romantic ones during puberty.
