A friend told me to eat a pod of raw garlic and the ticks wouldn't bite,I have been eating it regular and no doubt I have less bites than usual is this really working? has anyone else tried it ?

I don't know about ticks but eating garlic repels skeeters. All the bass pro's do it because they won't go near skeeter dope.
