what to do about young dog not treeing
I have a very nice young hound that I have recently finnished
out to a show ch.
I really like this pup because he is the first pup that I have off of
my Leeroy dog.
He can run a track with the best of them BUT when he gets to the tree he will shut up and you can't make him tree.
He has had a few coon turned loose in front of him . A few shot out to him "8" coon total in his mouth.
You can hang a coon up and he will tree on it as long as you have him tied back from the tree but loses interest when you let him up on the tree.
You can show him a caged coon and he will not tree as long as you let him close enough to get his feet on the tree all he will do is jump and stand and look at it but will not tree.
WHAT SHOULD I DO besides leave him up a while or get rid of him?
