Twas The Night Before Easter

Twas the night before Easter and all through the house. Rabbit is cooking and the wife is getting soused.
The eggs were all colored and hidden with care. The kids wondered if we were really eating hare. Ma in her kerchief, me in my cap we were heading into town after our nap. When under my truck arose such a clatter I slammed on my brakes to see what was the matter. Ro hit the window and Ben smashed into the dash. A trip to the doctors if we had more cash. And what to my bloodshot eyes did appear, a broken up rabbit and all of his gear. He wasn’t moving and he looked real funny. I knew real quick it was the Easter bunny. I jumped back into my truck and drove out of sight. Dead rabbit in the road oh man what a hell of a night…….
So in the morning when the baskets are not there, Tell your kids Uncle Todd did it and he really did not care!!!!
