medleys hardwood homer x jitterbug. he is a full brother to medleys lockbox (different litter). wimp has 3 five month old pups out of repete and queen XII. those little pups will run to catch and will put ole rickey up a tree.
I just picked up 2 pups out of repete and skuna river mae. I believe all of those pups are spoken for. he also has a litter out of repete and Queen XI. he said he may have one male left out of that litter. my papers say he has 31 pups plus the 7 out of queen XI. which would make it 38. time will tell if he will reproduce. Repete just got a first in a ukc hunt recently, I believe he only needs a third to become night champion.
Wimp said repete has the drive that is left out of a lot of hounds that are out there today. this past winter they had repete split about 20 paces from some other hounds. shot the coon out to the other hounds and repete never pulled, not even to help fight the coon. they then rewarded repete with the coon he had in his tree. don't think I know of any hounds that would stay treed and pass up a fight with a coon at another tree that close.
blake jones
thanks for the info on repeat, sounds nice
here is my skuna river dog. He is Loud. Fast . Independent. and when he looks up he is there to stay right or wrong. he leaves like hes shot out of a gun and is a " go huntin" dog that you will pull off a tree somewhere. its a common occurece in kill season to shoot coons out to other dogs while Bear is treed 30-40 yrds a way or deeper and him not even stop to listen.

the female will run and tree but the male likes to run track all the time. to be fair he has not been fooled with near as much as the female. this is lil girl at 4 1/2 months old on a turn loose coon

this is her at just under 7 months old on a coon off a feeder in some rough cutover

HOly Cow...this sounds like a big male
dog. That makes me glad I chose Lock box for sure. I heard he throws loud pups too and that whip bred a couple of his females to him also.
Keep her going man. She sounds and looks super.

I have heard good things about lock box also. I think I am going to like this little pup, she is about the right size and really good natured. she has a good strong voice but a coarse mouth dog is a little harder for me to hear. he brother has a long squall type voice that carries a really long way. for some reason I can hear him a lot better.
yea my female has a loud tenor
bawl mouth you can hear for a long ways cause it is so crystal clear. When she goes on that tree it really makes goose bumps come up on your hide. I heard lock box is loud and throws loud pups. Maybe we can cross some of our hounds one of these days and do some line breeding.

I saw his pic in the Prohound this month which was interesting since somebody just noted that one of the mags should do a write up on Wimp and they did already.

its the same as lock box
who is in this months american cooner.
hes directly off of Homer and a swamp female and a double bred skuna river female.
I hear he is a good reproducer. Mostly white and a medium to over medium sized hound. puts a lot of hunt in his pups. great tracking as well from what I hear. There may be folks on here that have more info than me. I talked to Whimp last week and this is the info he gave me.

Also, what titles does repeat have? I understand NITECH correct? Any others (GRAND? CH? PKC?)
I'm gonna give Mr. Wimp a call soon to talk to him about him.

yea you right.
nt ch only I believe.
That might be a great cross on your bark female. whimp is crossing grand daughters of bark on repete with great success. Keith is making a cross this week on lock box and a direct daughter of bark. that might be a tremendous cross.
lock box is one good looking motor scooter. small tight made and smart as a cur dog. I would drive up there if you want looks to go with your ability. I just happen to like both is why I bred to box instead of repete. Repete is just 30 miles from me, but Lock is just a super sharp looking dog with lots of chrome. You can see that in the ad in the magazine. but if you're just going for ability only, I would recommend repete since he is not that far from you.

he looks a lot better in person than
this pic. He is muscled up and and tighter now. Looks like a little pit bull he is so tight. sharp looking and smart as a whip. He never but a leash on him and we were right next to a very busy hwy and trucks and cars everywhere. Dogs tied out every where and men walking around. He stayed right with us like a house dog.

I talked to Mr. Wimp and I think I am going to breed her to Repeat this go around. From all I know he is what we want in a coondog and representative of the Skuna River line. One thing I look for is a balanced dog with good mouth and he seems to fit that. I don't like an "all tree" or "all track" dog. Mr. Wimp says he isn't as great as Bark, but he will probably never like one as well as him I would guess. But he says he is close and he likes him alot.
She comes in in late March or early April so anybody interested in being on "the list" just pm or e-mail me.

I think you're making a good move..w
what is the pedigree on your female and do you have a pic you can post. I have a buddy who is considering repete as well. He has a grand daughter to bark and Whimps says they are crossing extremely well on repete.
