LOL!! nothin wrong with them the way they are thats for sure! just not a fan of too much white...(not that it matters what a dog looks like or is colored like..) but you can see shes tri-color..and trackman is as well..

i know most walkers are born pretty black and white and eventually get the brown/red...just dont know when that might happen??

Posted by truly on 04-20-2011 08:26 PM:

Usually by 6-8 weeks you can tell just how much brown will be there, though it takes a few months to get the final color. You will be amazed how much change you will see by week 4 even.

Sometimes they take longer then 6 weeks old too.I bought a pup from a freind of mine out of his stud dog.He wanted to keep one that looked like his stud I tried my best to get him to let me have that black headed pup. When I went back to his house he was about 2 months old and turning brown lol.Mine stayed black headed. gotta love them black headed walkers.

we got some brown cheeks/muzzles and pumpkin seeds above the eyes and such on some of them...really stood out today now they they were nice and clean and dry...

it'll be neat to see...they all look just fine how they are...but i know were gunna get more brown than we have right now..

amazing how fast they grow and develop! they were all sniffing hard core this evening! sounded like a bunch of lil vacuum cleaners! lol

all are doing real well..8 plump puppies...thats a good litter in my book!

I AM A PHOTO FREAK WHEN IT COMES TO OUR DOGS, SO I KEPT THIS LITTLE PHOTO GROWTH THING OF RED AS HE WAS GROWING UP.

YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH THE COLOR CHANGES IN HIM!

FROM THIS ON DAY 1……

TO THIS AT 1 MONTH…..

TO THIS AT 3 ALMOST 4 MONTHS...

9 MONTHS OLD

11 MONTHS

HE PRETTY MUCH DIDN'T CHANGE ANY COLOR AFTER THAT, JUST FILLED OUT WITH MUSCLES.
