Not that I'm aware of (or at least heard about yet). I work in Sanford and that's another story.

I'm going to try and go by there tomorrow, or Wednesday and check it out on my way to turkey hunt.

I'll update everyone then....

David,I have been giving a short devotion at a lot of the hunts I've been to like the VA state BBOA for the last two years, and some of the local clubs around here.We usually give it at draw out time just before we pray and hit the woods.I would like to do this at this hunt Fri.& Sat. night if you would like. Since it is Easter weekend I could not think of a better time. Let me know.

David, talked to the club I'am a member at and they didn't sound very interested in sending anything in, said they hadn't even thought about it. As of yet I've not paid my dues,I could pay them tomorrow if I needed to are if it would help. Are can I join the NCCHA down there, since I live in VA anyway.

Wayne i think you can join on site tommorrow. correct me if im wrong david. i know they have signed up on site in the past.

Club memberships are $25 and cover all members of the club. I am dissappointed that a club would not be interested in joining.

However for those that are not members of a club or that are in clubs that choose not to join NCCHA you can join at the event for $5.

Wayne, I really think you've taken me wrong on this matter. The reason I hadnt thought about it was we've not had anyone interested in several years for a membership fee to be sent in. So its not something Ive been used to doing every years and in turn didnt really think anything about it. And if you are interested the club will cover the fees that are required for the club. If you could pay it we will reimburse you at the next hunt or club meeting we see you at. If you want the list of club member give me a call.

Also Chris, the club never said they werent interested in joining nor did they say they chose not to. Maybe if the members would come to the meetings and express their issues instead of coming on a message board trying to make the club look like crap.

Sorry for the miss understanding I didn't mean any harm in what I said, and if you will notice I didn't use any club name at all.

Looks like a misunderstanding for sure. I am hopeful all clubs will join as we move forward. Recently NCCHA sent a newsletter to all UKC chartered clubs in the State. I will be sending another in a month or so. Hopefully communication from the assn will assist in that decision process, truthfully the clubs are the backbone of our organization and we hope to do a better job of engaging clubs.
