Been finding them for about 3 weeks now, but no where near as many this year as last year. Am thinking someone else has found them, cause my honey hole is trampled down and no one that we know of is supposed to be in there. Lil bit of flour, lil more cornmeal, and a good dose of cayenne powder, bread them dudes up and tossed in a hot oil skillet or sauted in a lil virgin olive oil with some salt, mrs dash, and cayenne. Either way goes great with any meal. Oh great, now my mouth is watering

We found 11 Sun and 1 today. All 3 spots we went to have been pretty poor. The spot we went to Sun usually produces quite a bit.

Where I hunt them I find them around the poplars early, but right now they are around nearly every elm I see. Found some Thursday while riding my 4 wheeler. The way the sun was hitting them they stuck out like a sore thumb and were about 50ft off the road but they were also almost the size of a coke can. And they were GOOOOD!!! Anyways poplar, elm ash and sycamores are the best places round here and though I dont find them around but a few sycamore trees the ones there are in abundance. Occasionaly hickories will have them around also but not near frequent enough for me to look then all over like the elms and poplars.

Ya'll make them sound so good. Is there any way a fellow can buy some and have them UPS'ed down here? And don't trade for our 'shrooms, you liable to start a Walt Dizzeny Movie and never get out of it.
