THIS WEEKEND AT SHADE RIVER COONHUNTERS CLUB IN POMEROY OHIO. TROPHYS FOR IST THROUGH 5TH BOTH NIGHTS NITE CH AND GRANDNITE TROPHYS BOTH NIGHTS BIG TROPHYS FOR OVERALL HIGH SCORING DOG AND HIGH SCORING OPP SEX. PLUS TROPHYS FOR HIGH SCORING DOG OF BREED ALL SEVEN BREEDS.PLUS TROPHYS FOR ALL CLASSES IN THE SHOW.JOHN SPIRES WILL JUDGE THE SHOW AND JIM TURNER WILL BE THE MOH.PLENTY OF FOOD AND AS ALWAYS PLENTY OF GUYS WHO LIKE TO SHOOT THE BREEZE.THERE WILL BE A FULL KITCHEN PLUS BREAKFAST SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BICUTS AND SCRAMBLED EGGS. 2 night event

4' Four Post Trophies for High Scoring dog and High Scoring Opposite sex winners. Two night cast winners will win over 1 night cast score regardless of one night score for the High Scoring overall, opposite sex, and breed trophies.

Grand Show Champion, Champion, and Registered Male and Female Bench Show trophies will be awarded each night.

Bench show

I can not believe Pomery coonhunters Ass. would let a man judge a UKC bench show after he got up in front of our members and claimed he is a deputy sheriff of Meigs county which he is not. That sort of tarnishes a guys reputation and honor doesnt it? This may not seem like a big deal to some idiots, but it was a major concern to the Meigs county sheriffs department.

Not a problem BOO. I know where I stand. I also don't recall things the same way that you do. John Spires is an excellent judge in my opinion, and I don't have a personal problem with him or the club. Just trying to do the best that I can. Hopefully you can look yourself in the mirror and say the same thing.

We had a real good turnout last night. We had 6 dogs in the show. In the hunt we had 30 Registered dogs and 9 Night Champion Dogs.

1st Place was won by David Smith with Sadie, a Bluetick female.

Nt Ch was won by Jesse Jordan hunting Dobber, a Walker male.

Night Champion Winner was Nt Ch Wooten's Ohio River Dobber, a 4 year old Walker male owned by William Wooten (right) and handled by Jesse Jordan (left). 475+


1st Place registered was Smith's Powerful Blue Sadie, 2 year old Bluetick female owned and handled by David Smith. 375+


2nd Place registered was Briar Creek Preacher, 1 year old English male, owned and handled by Donell Oxley. 225+


3rd Place registered was Gr Ch Silver Creek Sitting Bull, 3 year old Walker male, owned and handled by Bill Stover. 175+


4th Place registered was Ch Black Diamond Shooting Star, 3 year old English female owned and handled by Steve Colegrove. 100+
