Yamaha Rhino Dog box???

My dad just got a rhino and was wondering if anyone made a dog box for them?? Thanks.

Best and cheapest option is to go and get two of the midsize pet taxis from Walmart and use those. Carries two dogs in comfort and weighs almost nothing. Easy to clean and easy to take in and out. I hold them in with a ratchet strap across the top.

Lot of people around here hunting off of Rhino's and Rangers and that is what we all do.

I use two plastic dog cages strapped in also. If you do a search for UTV dog boxes you will find some designed for them but they can get expensive.
Try www.owensproducts.com. They are excellent sponsors and make a great product. You will probably find one that will work for you at a reasonable price. Measure the box on your UTV so that you can order one to fit.

Found two boxes that may work for you made by owens. Product #55017 or product #55079. They are working on their website so if you have any trouble finding the one you want just give them a call at 269-651-2300. They are a great company to deal with.

Some of the advantages in buying an Owens for your UTV:
Light and easy to handle
Exremely well made
Excellent latches that are lockable.
Great options for providing good ventilation

i have a ranger and have no problem fitting ether box of mine in it and the biggest one is a houndsman deluxe for full size truck

Very nice set up!! Can these rhino's, gators, etc. go anywhere a 4 wheeler goes? i relize there bigger and cant get into some places but hoe does it go threw mud, plowed fields, snow. etc.

A friend made me a box for my ranger that has a small top storage just for my 22 and collars and little things ( 12x48 ). Takes up the whole box and lets the tailgate close which also allows the dogs to use the tailgate getting in and out. Low railing around the rest of the top to lay coon on and not fall off. Good advice to put a strap over it cause stuff happens when you're not expecting it. (experience)

Had to put runners under mine to raise it a bit cause the door latches hit the tailgate.

I like your dog boxes,they are cheap and functional.Several people have them here but the rivets are a major flaw,about every box that I have seen the rivets are coming out of them.

The rhinos are a beast they will go any where in any terrain. there is no stopping them. wicked fun to hunt off also!!

I tried several UVs out.The Rhinos were a good machine but I bought a Polaris Ranger instead mostly because it was alot less noiser and have heard nothing but great reiews for them.

If you would have those boys that have those boxes with rivets coming out contact me. I will send a replacement box. That is the first time I have heard of that problem. We stand behind them 100% just have them call and I will get them one out

They honestly didnt seem to worried about it,they just put some nuts and bolts in place of em.I plan on buying one in about a month or so,about the time I recover from the trip from Disney World lol.I live about 10 minutes from Sexton Bros. Dog food.I went to see if they had any large boxes left but they were sold out.Ill give you guys a shout when I get ready.

The local dealer here carries both and he told me he sells 10 Rangers for every Rhino. Rhino's were all the rage here 2 years ago but Ranger's have completely taken over the market.
