NC Coon Hunters
There has been a lot of discussion from hunters wanting the state hunt moved to a different location. If you want to make this happen everyone needs to come to the state meeting to voice your opinion on this matter.
I BELIEVE A CHANGE IN LOCATION WOULD BE AN GOOD IDEA. IT COULDN'T HURT TO TRY. MAYBE EVEN ROTATE AROUND THE THREE REGIONS OF THE STATE. EVERY COONHUNTER IN NORTH CAROLINA NEEDS TO HAVE THERE OPINION HEARD AND THE BEST WAY TO DO SO IS HAVE YOUR CLUB JOIN THE STATE ASSOCIATION AND HAVE A CLUB MEMBER REPRESENT YOUR CLUB AT THE STATE MEETING WHICH IS ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT THE STATE HUNT.
As an officer of the NC Coonhunters Assn - I also welcome representatives from as many clubs as possible to attend the State Championship and the meeting of YOUR State Assn. We will discuss many important issues at the meeting including; upcoming dog and hunting laws, bear baiting regulations and how they affect coonhunters, how to stay informed for your county level dog/hunting ordinances, the NC State Youth Hunt, and we will even discuss the NC State Championship and field suggestions for improvement. If you or your club has an item to add to this agenda please contact myself or David Gardin prior to the meeting so that we can cover ALL the issues that are important to the hunters in our great state!
