The Hunt

About 1960. Called the hunt episode #84. Run time 30 minutes, Twilite Zone Episode Volume 25. Mine is a DVD bought on Ebay.
About a hunt in 1960 with a hound, they die on the coon hunt, and the dog and man follow a path in the woods and end up at the gates of hell, and.........interesting ending........

A great ending! This film clip was made about 50 years ago.

I have that Twilite Zone episode on DVD. It comes on TV on the SyFi Channel from time to time.

There is a movie called The Hound Dog Man made in 1957. I really liked the book but the movie stars Fabien, so how good can it be? Do a Google search, it can be rented.

I recorded a newr version of Where TheRed Fern Grows the other day. It was good. It had Dabney Coleman and Kris Kristhofferson on it. It can probably be rented also.

Yep, Soggy Bottom USA is a funny movie for sure.

It's not a coonhunting movie, but I thought "The Voice of Bugle Ann" was a good movie. It's a foxhunting movie.

Yea that movie was filmed here on Caddo Lake in East Texas.. I was out of state at the time and two friends and hunting buddies of mine had dogs who starred in that movie. Kenneth McFarland had a dog out of Finley River Banjo that was the star walker dog and Mr. Tisdale had a little bluetick female that was the heroion. Kenneth's dog was killed during the filming by a wagon pulled by mules that ran over him ( he was compensated) they had to finish the movie with a pup out of him after painting the spots to look exactly like him. Wish I had been here, but then Lipper could have been that dog that got run over by a mule wagon.
