The Ga. State rules state that "there is no closed season for training dogs on private lands". When I hunt when season is out I dont even carry a rifle or knock any coons out. So the way I see it , I'm not "hunting" right now. Im training dogs so I don't see how there is anything wrong with it. I was told that someone actually asked a game warden around here one time and they said there is nothing wrong with it.

Charlie, we technicaly can NOT run dogs over a bucket at any time.

Tennessee worded their law as to include chasing from a bucket, not just hunting so even training over a bucket in Tennessee is technically illegal.

That said, I personally know a couple of game wardens in Tennessee that put their threshold of crimes much higher than bothering someone for training over a bucket and they didn't get anyone for that. I guess they figgured they had more serious things to deal with and didn't have time to fool with it.
