Best Bluetick you ever hunted with?

Just a fun thread here, let's not get into any pissing matches.

Hands down for me it was Tree Slammin' Hillbilly. I hunted with him several times when he was about 6 years old and he impressed me every single time.

This could be a neat thread with some of the old timers who hunted with lots of the dogs of days gone by.

Be interesting to see what some of the folks who hunt other breeds have to say.

Farnholders Blue River Willie. Hands down. Everyone looks down upon that dog. He has been a backyard hide dog most his life. Is independent to a fault(why he doesn't always operate best in cast of 4)

But I will saay this. Willie is an honest quick strike. Track driver that is always alone. And always has a coon. I've drawn this dog 3 times and he treed coons left and right. Very nice hound. I really thought a lot about that hound when I drawn him. Drew him at walker days and him and my Banjo put on a coon treeing show! I'm a walker man to the bone but not color blind and willie is a coondawg plain and simple. And was without a shadow of a doubt (one) of the most impressive dogs I huntef against this past year the night I drew him

Willie is out of droop jr. I believe.

That's what I'm talking about Daniel! I've never even heard of this dog.

I

would be hard pressed to say I've hunted with any better than Doc Householder's Hussler II and his son Little Man..
Main reason, Ability to wind a coon in a tree at distances that are hard to believe or describe.. If they caught the wind right those noses went in the air and bang !! Be it 10 feet or across a ravine. Flat out amazing...

Thorn

Gary Utchmans Thorn dog. That hound is some kind of treeing machine. That dog made me walk off 15lbs last summer he got so deep.I swear he ran a week old track, lol.
I am blessed to have a pup that is out of Gary's Zeb dog.In my opinion, there are no finer blue dogs than what the Utchmans have.Just my opinion. No offense to anyone.

I'm a walker guy but i gotta give my buddy's blue dog credit. She's a coondawg. Out of Pine creek Hatchet and Screwy Lewey Blood. Her name is Hatchet Sligin' Zoey. She's a bad bitch.
