lots of water and cranberry juice, and plenty of whiskey ,and last something to grip tightly. lol It sucks bud,I had them over sea's they are not fun at all worst pain i've ever felt... The Navy Corpsman gave me some pills that were supposed to break them up so i could pass them,not sure if they worked ,but i couldn't imagine if they didn't.....

hey kev,ive drank lemon juice,vinegar,cranberry juice and gsllons of water and the dr says oh they will come out!!lol ive had em since nov 27 and no luck.thanks gunslinger mac

Soda Pop

Quit drinking colored soda pop and like K. Watkins said you may need some medication to help get them to break-up or become smaller crystals before they can pass.

I am not a doctor by no means but I do know that soda can cause crystalyzation leading to the creation of kidney stones.

I hope you get them passed with-out having to have them busted with ultra-sound or other measures.

Vitamin B6 and magnesium oxide take these 2 vitamins on a regular basis and that will help keep them at bay also the leading cause of kidney stones is caffine products caffine depleats your body of water and then these minerals build up in your kidneys feels like someone stabbing you in the back with a sharp knife cranberry juice helps somewhat but most is got a lot of sugar in it so actually it doesn't help the drinking plenty of water is what helps flush them and you can tell when you pass them as it causes a burning sensation when they come out hope this helps
been there done that.

Had some powerfull men tell me that they will nock-ya flat footed or put ya to the ground! It really bites hard gettin old -I got a case of the gout this summer and it wuz not fun dern sure wernt fun givin up the happy juice and pork-n-green beans-haint nuttin like fresh half-runners-n-bacon rack of ribs and a gallon or two of b double e r!!!!! csg,im only 26!!lol aint that old....trust me these things will take u 2 ur knees....and nothing u can do about it.i gave one stuck where it aint a good place to have one stuck if u know what i mean

.... I'm SO SORRY I even read this... THoughts and prayers you r way... I read it cause my sister has had all sorts of problems with them... because of some of the meds she lives on. I know they are heck for a woman...can't imagine for a MAN! OUCH...
That said... We we started remodeling our house(still unfinished about 7 yrs later..LOL) Our FIRST big delay was the architect getting stones. When he told us he had passed one the size of a Good and Plenty I really nearly fainted. I eat Good n Plenty just about daily since I'm an addict... Every once in a while I think about that... and cringe.

I do hope you get those GONE soon and never get them again! Do what you can to eat and DRINK healthy!

Man, I've been there and done that. Hope to never have them again. I sure feel for you. My doc told me that everybody has kidney stones and that an imbalance in the system causes them to drop off and make life miserable. I've heard and tried all the home remedies goin' and the only way I've found to "cure" them is to stay hydrated. Plenty of fluids, but not a lot of caffeine.
