you can go to Tri Tronics .com and get a owners manaul.
also they have a trade in program if you choose.or you can go to
www.collarclinic.com and they have a repair service thats reasonable.
Pending on how old it is and last time its been used if the battery has leaked onto the circuitry inside the collar it is most likely useless. It could be fixed but would be as cheap to buy new. Keep it in your truck and if your hunting up Dannys and Im there we can take a look at it. Can also call foxhollowsupply in Glasgow Ky and talk with Jimmy, hes pretty sharp on that sort of stuff, good to work with you and yet to do me wrong. Have had mine for almost 10 yrs with no problems but if it died today it was money well spent.

yeah i hunt at dannys every weekend and i will put it in the truck we took the collar appart and didnt look like any thing had leaked out i think it is a charging problem we called tri tronics to see if they could repair it but all they wanted to do is try and sell me a new system. Garry Nesbitt is who i usually hunt with and ive thought about taking it to him he is pretty sharp when it comes to repairing hunting stuff but ill keep it in the truck and maybe yall will know how to fix it. i havent really need a shocking system on my young dog but she had one of her nights and could have really used it but i guess when i caught her the boot worked just as well.

One other thing to check out is if the rubber cover over the charging port has come off there could be something in there blocking the charger from getting a good connection. It should beep and red light come on when connected to charger. The red light does not go out when fully charged however. Takes about 14 hrs to fully charge them. The on button is sometimes picky on them having to press them good and wait for them to beep to come on. I have to use fingernail to get mine on cause my fingers are to big, fat, whatever to push it in. If port is clean and clear could be a charger problem or just simply need another battery. Not 100% sure I'll be hunting there this weekend cause I have to work but if I do I have 2 chargers and you can borrow one to see if that works and if that is the problem then your more than welcome to use it till you can get one.
