There will be lots of people willing to help. What breed are you interested in? Or does it matter? You looking for a pup, a started dog, or a finished dog? Do you have any equipment or are you looking to get all of that too? Or are you just looking for others to enjoy the woods with and hunt? Lots of questions to be answered but I am sure this board was the place to come to get some answers. All of them might not be right but you for sure will get some answers, lol. Good luck and welcome to our sport. I hope you have many enjoyable years with it.

In my opinion i would find you a good, broke, straight hound that handles easy, and will tree his own coon. Seems like alot of ppl go out and buy a top of the line box, gun, tracking equipment, light, ect. and have a poor dog. I would also steer away from a pup if you are just starting out. Pups are alot of work to get going sometimes. There are plenty of hounds for sale here on message board so this would be a good place to start.
