JMO........But I think a lot of the argueing and possibly the hunts would get a little less confusing if someone with authority of the rules would step in and set it straight.......

lol...I dont know how many times Todd or Allen have responded to a rule question only to be argued with by some numbskulls that dont agree with them.
There is no setting some guys straight...
I think if the hunts keep causing so many arguements and fights...UKC should just stop them. Discontinue the hunts.

I think that a lot of people just like to argue. They are bored and seem to feed off of controversy. If someone makes a statement then they will take the opposite side just to argue. They are playing the Devil's Advocate. They really could care less about the position. They just look at it as debating an issue. In high school and college they have debating teams. They assign 2 teams opposite positions and the teams have to debate the position they are assigned wether they believe it or not. Lawyers have college courses on how to argue effectively. A lot of people think that a good arguement stimulates your mind and causes you to think. When I was in the Army and stationed in Germany I learned that a lot of people from the North (Yankees)loved to argue. They could not understand why a Southerner (hillbilly) had popped them in the nose when they were simply "arguing".
