It was getting hard upto and including the week of Christmas. Many dens with eyes peeking out. Taking a break for Christmas/New years but looking forward to the rut in January. The dogs can use the rest.

Night before Christmas treed in brush pile, and a den that we were able to shoot out, and another den before we quite. We had a couple good tracks though, were they ran. But I looked at the weather and its warming up all this week, so maybe we can get back at it.

Haven't treed a coon in almost 2 yrs. I know my girls can tree a coon so I'm beginning to think there aren't any coons up here. LOL
Went twice before Christmas and treed six Tuesday night and on thursday night we treed four on the outside and were home before eleven oclock. Going again tomorrow night.

he knows how to get treed ,he doesnt like to slick like some dogs ,so he goes till he finds a coon, thought you were coming to hunt . if you feel like doing some walking come on over any night
Dickie I heard that a week or 2 ago so I figured it was a higher .........and Jamie I will have to do that come over and go huntin, and that is the way tuff dogs do it go until they get treed.
