there was a thread on here awhile back. i dont like mine they are only about 5 months old and i cant hardly wear them cause the heal wore out and it causes the back of my foot to hurt, and it seams to be a common problem with them.

mine didnt make 3 months!!

You guys must be rough on boots and not take care of them. I have been wearing the same pair of Woody max muck boots for over a year now and they are as good as when I first got them..and I hunt 2-3 nights a week and wear them around the farm during the days.

The heels wear out because you got too small of a pair for your foot.

Buy a size larger than you would normally buy.

Well, I cant imagine what yo are doing to make them wear out. Some of the hardest hunting folks I know wear the Woody Max boots and all cant believe how comfortable they are and how well they have held up.

I used to go thru 2-3 airs of Rocky's a year. My current pair of Woody Max Mucks is in as good a shape as when I first got them.

I wear mucks and so do my wife and son. I think their a real good boot. Theres probably other boots as good or better but the Mucks are real comfortable and hold up good in these steep hills here in East Tenn. When I get these wore out I,ll probably buy another pair, ain,t none of them gonna last forever if you wear them.

Posted by jamie stall on 12-26-2010 07:13 PM:

no , but they better last more than 5 months, worst boot i have ever bought, there is no reason for them to last 5 months. my lacrosse boots lasted for years and ill get a pair before spring

Posted by brady8687 on 12-26-2010 07:23 PM:

always have a problem with bean stalks poken holes in them. (Winter months)

Posted by sam kirkland on 12-26-2010 10:02 PM:

Them Lacrosse would probably last me for years too. Them things hurt my feet!

jamie, try wearin bama socks with your boots,i had the same problem u do until i got the bama socks. theyre nice and thick and keep your heel off your boot. theyre about 12 bucks and your feet do not get wet or cold.
