i have a dog without papers..i need info on the rules to regiestering him...
i have a 6 month old american pit bull who has never been papered... he without a doubt is full blooded pit bull,,,the only problem is that i received him from someone at 6 weeks old who purchased him from the owner of the dame with the pups...apperently the guy i bought him from couldnt keep the puppy after he bought him so i took it off his hands....im finally going to meet the parents and the owners this weekend so i still dont know if they are registered...my question is this, can i still get my puppy papered if the sire and dame have papers or not....thank you
can any one out there help me out with this... im reallly seeking an answer...thank you..
If your dog was never registered, then no you cannot register the dog with UKC. If you find that the sire and dam are UKC registered dogs, the breeder could single register the dog and when they receive papers sign them over to you. That is the only way for this dog to be registered.
