score this
Dogs tree and the tree has a hollow at the bottom large enough for dog to get his head in twenty feet away coons are seen in another tree some vines and branches that reach the tree would this be plus points or would this be circle points
If the vines come out of the tree that the dogs are on and go into another tree, I don't see how it would be any different that plussing a coon on the outside of a den tree. I am always hesitant to tell someone how to score a tree that I wasn't there to see for myself.

No this happened on a pleasure hunt I was just wondering never know what may happen at a nite hunt.I would have to circle it as for me.I like for my dog to be where the coon is not 20 or so feet away

NO the dogs were not under the coon they were 20 or so feet away. In my thinking if the dog wanted the coon they should have been on the tree that the coon was in

I believe he's asking if you shot the coon out or not.
In a hunt
Circle it. There was a hole in the tree the dogs were on. That is a place of refuge, and even if you truly believe your dogs got Jimmy'd nobody else is going to vote minus, due to it is a legitimate den.
you done looked in the hole no need in starting a fire
them babies will draw
You say the dogs needed to be on the tree where the coon where, but if the vines were good enough for them to cross how do you know that the coon didn't go up the tree that the dogs were on.
I wouldn't have killed them out either, but in a hunt I'm sure they would have been plused.
