Coonhunting Adventure book

I'm giving serious thought to publishing a book of short stories on coonhunting adventures. What I would like is for each of you to write down true stories and e-mail them to me. Write 2 or 3 if you want, send pictures too, just make sure they are labeled very well. I'm hoping I get enough of these stories to get a book printed up and will be available to buy. But for now, start sending me those stories and any other ideas you may have to make this book special.

Not sure if I could do a children's book, Actually never gave it a second thought, but now you guys have maybe given me an idea.

Actually, hubby and I were talking and we think it should be about all types of hunting using the hounds. Like cat, boar, bear, deer, even tracking would be interesting.

Even got an artist now who is willing to sketch, this is looking better, I just need stories.

are you paying royalties to the people who submit these stories? I'm assuming if you can get it published it will be a source of income?

Actually, it's not going to be copy righted, I have to see what is all going to be involved with it, I may have to send everyone a paper stating that the story becomes my property and they sign the rights to the story to me. Then, yes, it would have to be an amount paid to the story teller for those rights. I read for different newspapers and magazines, some I get paid for and others I don't, I 'donate' to the publication.

The amount of said book would have to be set according to what the cost is going to be to set it up and print it. So for now, I can't even give you an idea what that cost would be. If it is going to outragous, then I'd scrap the idea. No one wants to pay a high price for a book like that.
