How do I reset my map on my Garmin?

I changed batteries and my map card fell out. Once I put it back in it doesnt show the roads or creeks. How do I reset them?

It may not be set in there right.I know that whenever I change my batteries,if you don't have the map card set in there just right it won't show none of that.
