Minnesota hunting

Hows the hunting in southern minnesota around I-35? I was thinking about driving up for opening of kill season and hunting some of the public grounds. are they usually jam packed or thin on coons? I didnt know if alot of other people had the same idea. Thanks for any help.

public land will be pretty packed with hunters opening night im thinking
