another single registration ?
in order to be single registered the dog has to meet breed standard and be able to run and tree a coon correct?
now my female walker just had her pups this morning. she got bred by my yard dog that ripped her kennel apart and got in. these pups are 3/4 walker and 1/4 lab. they look like full blooded walker pups. can they be single registered in the future or not?

Not according to this.
Straight off of UKC's sight.
http://www.ukcdogs.com/WebSite.nsf/...gleRegistration
Single Registration is the procedure by which a purebred dog, not born in a UKC registered litter, may be registered with United Kennel Club, Inc. Dogs must be registered with a UKC acknowledged registry, and show proof of such by submitting a copy of the Registration Certificate from that registry.
But then again there have been SEVERAL dogs lately that have been single reg that weren't purebred.

thanks hobo! i don't want them to be registered if that is what ukc states. even if they were single registered i want them spayed or neutered so they are taken out of the breeding world.

Redbone Chic, the info HOBO posted pertains to non-coonhound breed single registration such as Labradors, Basset Hounds, and etc...
Coonhound Single Registration is done through the Breed Associations. Each one has their own rules and requirements for single registration.
Here is the info for the Treeing Walkers:
http://www.treeingwalkerbreeders.co...7&Itemid=84
A 3 Gen. Known Ped. Does not mean Of Only Reg. Hounds
They Want to Know What Kinds of Hounds/Curs/Dog are in the Breeding for 3 gen. Back ..
You could have a English X Walker that your Single Reg. then you Must Provide the 3 Gen. of known Lines ...
Or Redbone X Walker = Provide the 3 known Line Behind it ..
Treeing Walker Single Registration
Treeing Walker Single registration will be open all year.
In order to single register a treeing walker hound, the following process applies
1.Owner must be a member of the Treeing Walker Association Breeders and Fanciers Association. Membership fee can be paid at the time of request for application for single registration
2.Dog must be able to strike, trail, tree a coon alone, and stay treed for five minutes. This must be witnessed by an approved inspector assigned by the TWB&FA. Any association officer, director, or UKC Master of Hounds can server as your inspector to verify that your dog meets the UKC breed standard.
3.Three pictures of the hound must be supplied. One picture of each side of the dog, and one "head on" shot. These pictures must be signed by the inspector and returned with the application for single registration
4.Dogs must have a known three generation pedigree. Make sure that you include a date of birth, and do not write Unkown onpedigree for the OWNER of the sire and dam.
5.UKC fee is $40.00. Please include a separate check made out to UKC .
6.There is a $15.00 Service Fee made payable to Treeing Walker Breeders and Fanciers Association. (Canadian member should send money orders made payable in US dollars)
Also Its not a Automatic Given after you have gone thru the Process ... The App. is then reviewed by the Assoc. Board ..

I'd imagine the yard dog was 1/2 walker, 1/2 lab.
tully
thats what i was thinking
yep half walker half lab and crossed with a walker. he looks like a walker just with the build of a lab. big blocky head and a HUGE mouth! probably just send them off to some farm homes or something. tempted to keep one myself and train it and see if my female can reproduce
