Change of ownership question
This situation has come up a couple of times in the past....
Say I buy a female from a guy. I sign and date the back of the papers as soon as the female is purchased. However, I do not immediatly send in the papers. One month later, I breed the female. Shortly after the breeding, I remember to send off the papers. Question is: who is considered the owner/breeder of the litter?
Thanks,

As long as the purchase date on the back of the paper is before the date of breeding, you would be considered the owner of the dog at the time of the breeding. You would need to send in her papers before or with the litter application to have her put into your name.
