What traits is he passing on to his pups?Anyone hunting a pup from him,likes/dislikes?

From what I have seen he is throwing big leggy hounds with good color and big mouths. Mike Dohoney bought a young gyp off of Son at Walker days and he said she is a stem winder. Clay is a great guy and very honest, give him a call and he will tell you straight or call Mike and ask him about his lil female.

Son

I hunt with a guy that has a 1 yaer old male out of son and he is TUFF. The dog is and explosive tree dog, he really moves a track fast and is one of the most accurate dogs i've ever seen. the dog was treeing at 5months old and treeing his own coon. he made the old dogs look bad. He's got looks to spare. beautiful blanket back. If I was a walker guy i would definetely own a son pup

don't know about his hound...

haven't followed "son"...but his owner and "son", were next to me in breeders showcase, autumn oaks, and clay scott and his walker, were very nice to be next to. "son" is well-mannered and i took a photo of him in the display. wish i were able to share this one...he is a beautiful walker.

Got a one yr old that is a gr.ch lacks one win to be grand nite ch and he has won about 1000.00 in pkc. He has good looks and a outstanding mouth. Sun is throwing some good pups.

All those Sackett Jr. dogs are most successful when they have the blood of KING LIPPER in them.......Why do you think this is ???? No doubt Boone was a fair reproducer, and he brings a little success to this cross if nothing else that red head is a quality that all coon dogs need..........

Chrisy, Yes that is a good looking hound.......Is she/he from a lipper bred female.......that tree style is like that of KING LIPPER

I just went hunting with Clay and Son last weekend. Son is for real and Clay is one of the nicest people you will meet in this business. What realy impressed me was the 8 month old pup out of Son that Clay hunted. He went hunting, ran and treed with Son and looked pretty good doing it. They both had a big bawl mouth, good locate and were hard, classy tree dogs.

Dave this is the pup that Clay hunted in the spring. He is a super nice pup and like Jody says he has a real good mouth. Hope to get him finished out to dual grand this weekend.

FEMALE HER AT THE HOUSE AND WHEN I GET HER WHERE I WANT HER AND WANT TO RAISE PUPS SON IS MY PICK OF STUDS. EVERY PUP I'VE HUNTED WITH OUT OF HIM WAS LOUD AND WOULD GET TREED.
