Mad Dog South

We wanted to start this thread so MAD DOG SOUTH could post their photos, videos, and information of their dog or dogs. We invite MAD DOG and even MAD DOG NORTH to post on here. Just want to keep up with everyone and everyone can keep up with us down south. Thanks Lance and Dana

Good Idea the more Mad Dogs that go south means the less I have to hunt against around here!! We will see you guys at the Bunkhouse in November.

Jacob Webb

Our hearts are really sad for Jacob. He lost his Nitech Dog Ted. Jacob is 12 years old and was on his way to finishing him to grnitech. He and Tyler won the 2009 zone 6 championship king and queen of hunt competing against adults. If the opportunity arrises I may need help from the mad dog family in finding him a good young male with lots of potential. This young man has worked hard with his dog and I would like to get something mad dog bred in his hands if the opportunity comes up.

lance, Johnny called me last night looking for a dog for him. i told him about the female brian has forsale. i dont know of anything else. I'm going to try my best to get over to their youth hunt at the end of the month. I told them i would guide for them if needed. I hate to hear about this young mans dog. from what johnny told me that night he hunted with us the dog was pretty good. wished i had got that other pup now. i'd give it to him.

Thanks Tim. We will know in a few days what they want to do. Barry knows them and he will let me know what to do to help. He is one of the kids who hunts his own dog. I think it is important to keep him going.

i spoke with johnny webb this afternoon (boys father) the dog got a bacterial infections and the medication the gave it didnt work. jacob raised and trained this dog himself and put all the wins on it. he"s pretty down. he will be paying for this dog himself from what i gathered from his father. hes looking for something started. male or female doesnt matter. they are in ga. i told him about the bunkhouse. his number is 706-881-7000 if any of you would like to call and talk to him yourself

Barry how is that pup you got doing in the woods? Do you think the young man might want to go in partners on a female. I have one that I don't really have for sale that I'm just now getting to work with that I would sell half interest. She will be a year old in few days and will go hunting, she worked her on track while Candy was treeing in another spot when I hunted her a few days ago. If you talk to him you could run it by him, if not interested it will be no big deal.

i havent put him in the woods yet. i'm still working him on leash and loading. teaching him a few manners. he is green as grass. i'll talk to johnny and see f he's intrested.

i knew there was a reason he invited me to come hunt....lol. i worked the new dog jethro yesterday. he's doing a little better each day. gonna give him another few days and put him in the woods.

Bunkhouse hunt

Starting to get some calls about the get-to-gether hunt. Seems to be a lot of interest already. A lot of hunters were there last year and most had a blast, good fellowship, good food and good hunting.

For you southern boys talk to Lance and follow him up. He can tell you what its like.........Tim

Bunkhouse

The hunting is fun but the friendships that are made last a lifetime. It is something that my entire family is looking forward to. What a great tradition! Maybe we can get all the mad dog north guys there this year.

congradulations to MAD DOG ALL JAZZED UP. Jazz finished to GRNITECH tonight with a 600+ cast win. she scored 1125 in two hunts this weekend. congrats to brian hutchinson, lance and dana byrd and shaun quinn (handler) for a job well done. shaun and jazz are a team thats hard to beat!. Jazz is a tuff hound in any condition, terrian or company. Nice win for the MAD DOG TEAM!

I have told Hutch for along time that Jazz is northern by birth but southern by the grace of GOD. Jazz is a true southerner that excels in the south. We have really enjoyed hunting her and now that we have reached our second goal we had set for her we will continue to celebrate this weekend. Thanks to all our friends that have helped, supported and pulled for us through the year. Hutch actually sent us the cape a week ago to make us laugh. We are happy she got to wear it so soon. The pic is L-R: Ryan Quinn, Shaun Quinn, and me. Ryan is Shaun's brother. This will be a night to remember! We are so thankful to God for allowing us to have this happy time and bringing us these wonderful friendships that will last a lifetime. It is so much fun to witness Shaun and Jazz working together.

Hunts

This was a big weekend for several mad dog hounds. Jazz, Peggy, and Blueberry all had good weekends. That's allot of success for one weekend. Way to go guys. It is so much fun sharing in it all!
