I am flipping through the newly acquired Advisor.On page 99 in the incomplete scorecards scratchable offenses it states "Time hunted is not referenced in note keeping box."

Back when this rule was written the Coonhound Advisor December 2004 page 22 interpreted it as
"Hunting time does not need to be recorded at all."
"Your signature was testament to the fact that time and scores are correct."
"Anything written in this box is not to be considered an accurate reflection of hunting time by licensed officials."
"In other words ,do not scratch a cast if hunting time in the notes box does not add up.It is an unofficial work space only."
Somehow I lost the second page of that article but I am certain it also stated that the space could in fact be left completely blank .

its not a mistake. it says at the top of the card . for keeping notes. so no time needs to be in the box

Who's on first LOL Maniac he is saying he knows that but the new advisor says other wise he is wanting to know if it is a typo in the advisor.

I think what his question is this: The Advisor (being an interpretation of the rules) is stating something different than what the rules on the card states.

So basically he is wanting to know if it was changed or just a mis-print.

Time hunted IS NOT REFERENCED in note keeping.
I read that as the place where they have for notes is not referanced. You don't have to fill it in. The only place you have to put the time is in the time hunted spot. That is the way they have been doing it now for a while.

Notes is nothing a person has to fill out. It is just a work space in case you need one.

u better check the card again cause the box your talking about say NOTES NOTHING ABOUT KEEPING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is don't read that thing like a regular old nut like us can understand. And for Gawds sake don't read it like it was some kind of Constitution what needs to be changed everytime the big breeders figure they have bred dogs that don't fit the rules. Lets just write the rules kind of flimsey like, so that The Regulators have all the power to interpret the rules for their well being, Just like our Congress does. And so forth and so on.

Ruh-roh. We did in fact miss taking out that statement. It should have been moved to the "do not scratch section". I will need to make mention of that in an upcoming advisor column for anyone with a copy of the new Advisor to make revisons in their copy. Good catch Pat. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
