ownership / shows issue

can someone handle my dog at shows if they are NOT on the papers, as long as I am not "hiring" them? I placed a puppy with a friend and she wants to show her, but I am hesitant to transfer ownership so the pup is still in my name

Can she show this pup as things are?

yes she just writes her name in the handlers spot and yours in the owners
