Southern Illinois bound, here we come

After years and years of a lot of what if's and but's, making a lot of money, but still living day to day or week to week, constantly trying to deal with out rageous land taxes, etc. enough is enough. As most of you who know me know i worked underground in Kentucky for a long, long time. Well, i finally decided to go back to the coal fields which i always loved. I'll be heading down, early tomorrow morning ( Sunday). So, any hunters down that way who want don't me tagging along, give me a hollar.( I normally pack a decent dog )I'll be working in Galatia Illinois, and staying in the Marion area, untill we can get a place bought, and got situated.
ps, All my hunting friends here in Ohio, Ky., W.Va, and where ever you may be, soon as i get set up, i expect you to come see me. We'll make a couple drops, and may even tree a coon or two.

Perry, yep it's underground. If you want i'll send you some info on it, just let me know. I was surprised that they're are quite a few underground operations down there. I really like the area, way in the head of no-where. lol Right up my alley. I would'nt have it any other way.

Ray we live in Carterville 8 miles west of Marion would be glad to help you with the area, there quit a lot to do in the area and several coon clubs in a 25 mile range. We also show a walker dog now & then. Mike & Brenda Cavitt ph.618-985-4165

Hey all, Thank's to all that have called emailed, etc. We are officially here now. Bought a real nice place out in the country, right outside of Marion. Big ole house, with 18 acres. Heck we got lucky and bought from a dog man, already got a real nice kennel and all Looking forward to more woods time. I gotta say, we really love it here. Good people, plenty of hunting and coon.Already got tons of private land to hunt. All our friends back in ohio ( not only Ohio, but where ever you may be ), come down and see us when you can. Heck we'll cut em loose. might even get lucky and tree a coon or two.

Ray you think you might have time to put some SC hounds in the woods come April?....trying to get a trip set up for my spring break this year...not doing baseball so i'd like to get a good hunting trip planned.

Brandon, you are more than welcome to come for a hunt. Even though we're a little thin on dog power right now. Seems like some low life sob decided we did'nt need some of our dogs and decided to poison them while we they were still in Ohio. We don't understand, we're just little bitty fish in a great big ocean, but some low life B******d out there did'nt care much for some of our hounds. But, i'm hunting hard bout every night with what i have left. Like i've always said, i reckon i'll hunt hunt to the the day they plant me. Don't know what quit means. So, come on for a hunt, i'll guarantee damm tee i'll have a top hound or two. We'll tree our share.

Glad you're set up and happy Ray. Sham about your dogs being poisoned. I know what you mean, I'm getting to old to worry about the consequences for repaying that kind of thing.

Thank's Dale, hope all is well with you all. We hope to get out and get to some events this coming year, Orangeburg and Albany are still up in the air pending work. But they're will be some nice hounds that came from our kennel there. As for our losses i have'nt forgotten and will deal with this my own way if / when we ever find out who did it. Good luck and we hope see you all soon.
