EVERYTHING happens for a reason.
Bill, I am guessing you saw Dale Young's Redbone male. "Made in America" He is one nice male. I picked him at American Redbone Days for Grand Male and he has won some other big events.
Jackie
christy, the woman was tall ,big boned and if she had rollerskates on she could be one of the leaders in the bay city bombers womens leage.she was dressed nice and pleasent looking woman.i'm not putting the woman down ,but if she got mad ,there's no way i would want to get in her way.
she was on the grounds visting with another redbone person next to where we were parked.dont remember her hair color or length as the redbone drew my attention and i just couldn't get over how good the dog was put together and his looks.as i havent seen a redbone that color sense 1973.he was approx 26" tall a real hound head, strong muscular body and legs and almost black cherry red in color....after seeing this red dog ,,,it made all the other reddogs i saw there look 2nd class compared to him and they was some nice looking red dogs there .
jackiec ,where would i find a picture of this dog of dales to see if it was the same dog.this dog would be a good cross on my son's ch.redbone female as she is the smaller fine boned type redbone from the oldblood from many yrs back.

JUST ONE GOOD LOOKING RED
Thats a shame there was only one good looking red dog at this big event.......They ( Redbones ) are a breed that is becoming so hard to find or at least it seems that way......Why is that these hounds aren't so popular in the hunts or even as a pleasure coon dog........What are their traits as a hunting dog, track dog, tree dog ????????

medium to wide hunting, quick strike, hard tree dogs, good handling, quiet around the ranch, non-aggressive, loud. At least some of them out there are left like that.
