staff infection

Talked to John Wilson today and he informed me they wont be taking Arkie Jr. (A.J.) to the zones. Says A.J. has a severe type of infection that has him broke out all over and his feet swole up twice their normal size and bursting open. Said the vet came out to his house to look at him today, they have sent samples off to U of Okla.. Vet said if they dont hear back from them soon they will just take A.J. to the school. Anyone ever heard of any thing simular?

Our dogs feet swelled really bad one time..

But she's 5 and the vet said that it was from hunting her so much and maybe a little arthritis.

Dont sound anything like what that dog is experiencing.

Hope he gets better though!

a toxic insect bite...such as spider?! recently had problem with such a thing on blue female. her bite was on head...what a mess!! she is fine now. lots of antibiotics, washing out sores..took weeks to heal..but fine now! good luck.

Often the skin has an odor and many infected postules under the skin. One cause is from being severely roughed up by briars or other tough undergrowth.
