I have used it for years and it is really good stuff, highly recommend it. Its not new its been around for awhile. I give it to my dogs about once every 6 months and they never have worms.

Barry, I worm with Panacur but the active ingredient fenbendazole only treats Taenia species (eating animals) of tapeworm but not against the common tapeworm, Dipylidium caninum (fleas).

Personally, I have found that it is useless for the Taenia species of tapeworms and use a tapewormer when I have some that have Taenia from eating dead animals or catching and eating rats.

Buy the horse paste, put about 1/2 inch on your finguer that is Safe Gaurd(fenzabenzadol), use Zimmectrin Gold for tapes, use about a peace about like a pencil eraser.

Use to use the powder form in the past but use liquid form (horse paste mixed with 100ml water in pup feeding bottle).

Ivomec for heartworm preventative
Panacur for worming
Then tapewormer on hand for ant tape issue.

A good flea treatment program will keep the Dipylidium caninum tapes away..........eating dead animals Taenia tapes needs a wormer.

Barry look up the Zimmectrin Gold threads, not knocking oklared on it, but look at the dosage rates of what is in Zimmectrin Gold.

Doctor H.L. MITCHEL DMV recomends Zemectrin Gold for tapes. Just a little on your finguer, (bout like pencil eraser)
