Absolutely Ron, send him down. This is a great event for kids and families to participate in, and for those new to hounds as well. We usually see 30-35 kids here, and they all go home with tons of prizes and smiles. It also serves as kind of a reunion, as it brings out some of the great members of years ago; even some of the founders of our club... So many tall stories to hear! Hope to see you Saturday!

***NEW LOCATION***

Our club house is flooded! Last night we received nearly 5 inches of rain, which brought the water race pond right into the clubhouse!

So, we are relocating the event to the Hebron Community Center, which is less than 2 miles away.
Directions from the club: Turn west (right) out of the driveway onto Hwy 106. Go approx 1/2 mile and turn south (left) on Cty D. Go another 1/2 mile and community center will be on the west (right) side of the road. Signs and balloons will be posted.

Also, we may have to cancel the water race, but that will be determined tomorrow. All other events will be held as scheduled.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we can be thankful for dry feet!

We will be there! Just curious,do the kids and adults compete together or do the kids have seperate events?

Ben,
This is a regular UKC event, and has never been made a youth event. So, the kids do compete with the adults. There is a separate 1hour buddy hunt for the kids wanting to participate in a fun-only event. The prizes are for the kids only, so you won't be able to win that hot pink .22 you heard about...lol.....
Looking forward to seeing the Downing crew and everyone else tomorrow!

I am unfortunately not gone be there. I have a trout stream in my basement to deal with. Got me in a tizzy today.

Have a blast & remember it's about the fun!

Winning is a bonus & losing is not the end of the world no matter what some think!

My family sure enjoyed our trip over to this event last year. I wish I had a rig that could haul the family and a dogbox so we could have attended.

To all the kids that showed & won or not! I clearly missed out on a fantastic event !!

Looks like it was just about all kids ? I know the tribe that showed back up here around 11:00 was very tired,a lil ornery & happy as well if thats possible?

Hats off to the Jefferson county coon & fox hunters for putting on a event of this nature geared towards the kids & family!
