Garmin Update 3.2 version
Anyone updated to the 3.2 version yet? Is there any improvement, this is the first update I have done since I bought it with the 3.0.

How do I know what version I have?
psiskjr
I bought my Astro when they first came out and have done every update since with both the Astro and the DC30 collars. I have never been able to tell any difference with any of the updates but maybe it is something that isn't readily noticeable by the user.
anyone have the link to the thread showing where to go and how to check for updates???? last time i went to the garmin website to do the updates like the manual said, i couldnt find the update tab on their webpage

I got the handheld updated. Thanks, is there updates for the collars? Or does it update off the system?
I have never tried it, but I think you turn the collar and and link it to your receiver with it plugged into the computer. There is an update collar app on your receiver screen.

3.20 is for the alarms as i understand it makes them come in a little quicker. won't notice much unless you were constantly watching it. you notice these little things using it on big-headed blue pups ! i like to see a camera on the new collars, just to double check what they are doing ! LOL

I was just curious as to whether anyone could tell any difference in any performance after the updates. I read thru the update log well before the version mine came out with. I dont think through an update any system could get a better communication via radio frequency from collar to reciever for improved range but then again I didnt stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either. I was just wondering more or less if some of the folks who were having problems or glitches so to speak were finding improved performance with the updates. I have not had any of the problems that some on here are reporting but at the same time havent had mine as long either. Just a curiosity question.
