Toyota Tundra
Is any one driving the tundra? how are they holding up and what kind of mileage are you getting with them? i may need to upgrade soon and have been hearing good things about these trucks from some of my contractors.
let me know your thoughts
thanks
If mine got wrecked or stolen tomorrow I would go out and try to find the exact same truck. Mine is an '05 extended cab but not the full four door version. That truck is awesome in the woods and two tracks where I hunt. It rides good, has enough power, has been maintenance free for 135,000 and gets about 18 mpg driving to and from work.
But that being said, I don't think you could give me one of those new monster sized Tundras. I'll have no choice but to go Tacoma when I ever need another one if I can't find one of these older Tundras. I really like mine.

I'd have to second every thing he said also. I have the four door and love it. My wife uses it to deliver mail six days a week and all Ive done to it is change the brakes and oil. Mines a 2005 also.
I have a 06 and it sucks on gas milage..12 miles a gallon around the house..Heck 16 is the best its ever got on the interstate..I'll drive it till it falls apart though OR sell it to Todd if something happens to his
I think the newer ones are butt ugly myself..Should have never changed the style..

I have the 08' double cap TRD package. We have had it for 2 years last week 61,000 miles on it with the 5.7. We tow 2 trailers with it 1 a 31 ft TT loaded weight 8,300 lb. Trailer 2 our work and play for events loaded weight 10,000 lb. drive truck daily and many many miles to events the last 2 years. the only thing done to it is tire rotation and oil every 5,000 miles. just replaced the tires at 59,864. we do have all the scheduled maintenance per fatory. when pulling trailer thru pa and wv we can be at 60-65 at the bottom and still be there at the top of the hills.
The truck however was a little light in the backe end for trailering so e added firestone air bladders (clamp on) for $230 works fine no problems. We ent from an 04 ram 3500 dually to this not quite as stable, and towing milage is anywhere from 9-12 mpg pending trailer eight and terrain. truck by itself only gets about 16-18 mpg.
