how to get one to stop

i got a 1 year old that is running and treeing good buy him self but want to chew like there is now tomorrow when he is by himself and will face bark with others sometimes it seams like the longer he is treed the worst it is any ides how to fix this

If he has an infection or mites it will hurt him to bark, so instead of barking he starts chewing.
