Coonhunting, Never A Dull Moment
THAT IS WHY I ENJOY THIS SPORT SO MUCH (MOST OF THE TIME). I GUESS ITS THE UNPREDICTABLE EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE IN THE WOODS AT NIGHT. WE WERE OUT THE OTHER NIGHT ON THE WAY BACK FROM THE TREE ON THE 4TH DROP, IT HAD BEEN A GOOD NIGHT THUS FAR (4 TREES 5 COONS SEEN) TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT WE WERE WALKING BACK ACROSS A GROWN UP FEILD I HAD MY MALE ON THE LEAD MY YOUNG GYP WAS RUNNING AROUND AHEAD OF US A FEW FEET. SHE STOPPED SQUALLED AND WE ALL GOT SPRAYED BY A SKUNK I TURNED TO GET MY SELF AND THE DOGS AWAY FROM THERE THEN GUESS WHAT I STEPPED RIGHT ON TOP OF ANOTHER ONE AND MY BUDDY , MY DOGS AND MYSELF GOT IT AGAIN. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS A GOOD NIGHT BUT THE LAST DROP REALLY STUNK.....THE BAD THING IS THAT WE TOOK MY JEEP CHEROKEE OUT THAT NIGHT AND IT WAS A ROUGH RIDE HOME AND ITS BEEN AIRING OUT FOR DAYS
WVH, The only thing worse than taking YOUR Jeep is:
taking YOUR WIFE'S minivan and having something like that
happen. I was in the dog house for weeks. I'm not sure she ever
has forgeven me. LOL

YEAH I DONT THINK THAT WOULD HAVE GONE OVER WELL. SHE RAISED HELL CAUSE ANYWAY CAUSE I HAD BROUGHT THE TRACKERS AND SHOCKERS IN AND LAID 2 OF THEM ON THE DRESSER TO CHARGE AND SOMEHOW THEY FELL IN HER UNDERWEAR DRAWER SHE HAD THROW THEM ALL AWAY AND SHE GOT REALLY PI$$ED ( THATS A UNDER STATEMENT) WHEN I CALLED HER STINKY BRITCHES AFTER THAT LMAO SHE DID NOT THINK IT WAS AS FUNNY AS I DID
ol stinky britches LOL

LOL...
....That is FUNNY! Bob and I are LAUGHING... and Bob is reminicing about the time he shot the skunk RIGHT against the house... under the window where I was sitting... and the fan was on directing the air INTO the house... LOL... I barely let him back inside... his clothes stank... LOL...
SKunks... never ran into one coonhunting... this year rabies must have taken most of ours. We have seen NONE on our cams... good and bad...
Stay fresh and clean out there
LOL... HappyHunting
