LOL...

... Not even sure what the movie is you're talking about BUT.. I am a horror fan from way back... and I am alsot the worlds biggest wimp! It does NOT take much to make a corn field more scary... for me the spiders alone in REAL life are bad enough... NOW... these days it's rare to see real live corn here in our part of MA... but itn the old days(the 70s) we hunted around corn. When I first saw Children of the Corn I was SO GLAD I no longer coonhunted... Now that we're back into it(a little bit)... I will be SURE to surround myself with Big Men and PRAY they don't talk about scary movies. I get myslef as jumpy as can be here on our 2 acres! LOL..

Guess I'll have to look up some of these movies and see them with Bob...LOL... I can then scare HIM!

Happy Hunting.. watch out for.... scary things and creepy people out there! Heather

I'm not the slightest bit spooky when out hunting , but after watching Children of the Corn , it is rather hard to stand next to a cornfield in the black night , hearing the rustling corn leaves and not get the hackles raised on the back of your neck !

BINGO! AND... I was scared BEFORE seeing that...LOL... I grew up in a BIG scary house in Boston... My Mum still lives there and... when we are their at night Bob or the kids will ask HOW on earth I grew up there and wasn't scared... LOL! I NEVER got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I STILL have a fear of bears... from our big old ugly bear rug... that had an open mouth and "bit" my foot once when I tripped on it... That stupid bear followed me in many a dream... I was DESTINED to be creeped out easily! My parents collected skulls, my dad was a cosmetic surgeon so we had human skulls too... My Mum was(is) a surrealistic artist and did Creepy, beautiful swamp paintings... My poor son still cringes driving thru swamps... even though he loves them! LOL... He is NOT as jumpy as me since HE did NOT have to live in that big scary(beautiful) house! LOL...
Corn... AKKkkk! I'll be having nightmares tonight! and I DID NOT just go out with Bob to take the dawgs out... or close the chickens in...LOL...

Have a GREAT night and HappyCORNFIELD hunting!
Heather

I wish a movie like that was all it would take to keep out of state'r out.

They move in here from JERSEY and a million other places and buy one acre, and think they have say over every thing they can see from that acre.

Everytime my wife goes hunting with me she makes me let her walk in front with me behind. She's always afraid something is following us and she wants light in front of and behind her. So she leads the way and I chase along behind (kind of like when we were dating...LOL).

Very active imagination she has!!

no, we usually have to take the looong way around briar patches. Usually I only take her if I know i'm gonna be hunting fence rows and standing corn where the walking is pretty easy anyway.

Horror movies never bothered me as far as going to the woods and hunting at night. I hunted by myself til I was twenty seven or twenty eight. Always at night whether hog hunting or coon hunting. Nothing more peaceful than being in the woods on a bright moon and hearing a good hound break the relative silence.

BUT!!!!! When Jaws came out I went to see it and went spear fishing the next day. I couldnt keep my head under the water much less go down and fish. Every time I did I kept hearing that bump bump bump.

The real boogers aint in the woods they are in town!!!!!
